Exquisite Portrait Commissions

Thought I would write to let you know what the family thought of my portrait. The general concensus is that it is brilliant, however, they worry about my "sad eyes". Secretly this amuses me because I believe it is what really makes it me. It has also confirmed my belief that sitting for a portrait - and getting to know your subject - it so very important.

I am especially touched because whether you know it or not you have seen into my soul. I do have a real sadness inside which I try to keep well below the surface. For my friends and family I am happy and laugh alot. I try to be mindful of other's pain and try to discard my own. You have been able to see something which is buried deep down inside which I try to hide and I thank you for your insight. You are truly an exceptional person. Not just for your artistic talent and ability to express it but your innate ability to paint such lovely skin tones while knowing and demonstrating that there is more beneath that skin's surface.
